Unsung Edibles is a collaboration with writer Rachel Pitts of The Fruitful Kitchen.

“Seaweeds of Southern Australia” is a combination of my artwork, and Rachel’s interest in the wondrous edible seaweeds to be found around Australia’s southern coastline. Rachel has foraged, selected and cooked, while Alex has drawn (and tasted). The idea to make this artwork grew as we sometimes swam together, gazing down upon the gently swaying (mostly green) seaweed at beaches around Melbourne.
